George W. Pope

George W. Pope (1822-1896) was an architect-builder active in Boston from the 1870s through his death in 1896. Pope is buried in Forest Hills Cemetery.

Pope was a contemporary of Robert Treat Paine and the architect of the Round Hill - Sunnyside houses. He is also credited as builder for a number of houses on Edge Hill Street and Gay Head Street.
