HistoricHydeSquare:About
From HistoricHydeSquare
In 1984, the Boston Landmarks Commission identified six areas in Hyde Square that were eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places.
Historic Hyde Square formed to pursue those National Register nominations. In 1999 we created our first web site to promote interest in historic preservation. In 2003, Historic Hyde Square incorporated as non-profit corporation.
